Most of the magazines print stupid comments on your favorite pics and this text ruins the picture, so why not erase that text? i have a pic of Keira Knightley out of a magazine, but as always they have a comment and even the page number! *terrible* :)

Now, we gonna start to erase the comment first, let us zoom in and select the comment with the "Rectangle Marquee" Tool. BTW be sure to make a backup before editing the picture! maybe you gonna ruin it totally :) so we selected the comment. Should look like this:

we gonna use the "Eyedropper" Tool (Shortkey I) and the Brush (B) to overpaint the comment. First we use the eyedropper and take a color right at the side of a letter. then we switch to the brush tool and paint over that letter (completely) so we have erased one letter. we gonna do this with ever single letter (takes a lot of time, so be sure to use the shortkeys so you can switch fast between the two tools). So we colored every letter and we should have something like this:

doesnt look that good, right? so we have to use one of my favorite filters Filter => Noise => Add Noise..., but before we do this, it's maybe a good idea to fill the none colored parts, because they dont have a solid color, and if we add noise, these parts will looke more distorted than those overpainted letters! we gonna add 3.00 % Noise, Uniform and if you used the filter before be sure to uncheck Monochromatic.
