-> My Mona Lisa

Today we will put Miss Keira Knightley's Face onto the famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo Da Vinci! This tutorial is written for advanced users, if you are a beginner, check out the the Mask and the Colorize tutorial first before you start this tutorial, you will need the know about masking and colorizing!

The original files, of course size reduced!
First of all we have to cut out Keira's face and copy-paste it into the second picture. Then resize the picture so the eyes and the mouth are at the same size as mona lisa's. to check this it's usefull to set the layers opacity to 50% and then compare them directly:

Perfect =) now we reset the opacity to 100%. we have to erase the parts on keira's picture which we dont need. I used Layer Masking to hide the parts i dont need, it's much better than using the Erase Tool because you can undo mistakes easier! Our lovely painting should look like this right now:

There's still much work to do. Now we change her color so it fits the painting. Using Color Balance (Select the Layer and press CTRL + B) we can change her color the way we want it. Play around with it and you'll find the right settings, press ok.
