->The Eye

Changing Eye color is like colorizing a picture (at least i think so (-: ) First of all we need a good one where you can see an eye, after looking through the whole web i finally found a good one.

You dont like blue eyes?

now we select the eye with the Lasso Tool (L), you dont have to do this perfectly, we're going to fix that later. Just be sure to have the eye totally selected, as seen below:

So far so good...

We press CTRL + C and CTRL + V (Copy and Paste), we should have two Layers now, the original, not changed picture and the new layer with the selected eye. next step, select the new layer and Image -> Adjustments -> Desturate (or simply SHIFT + CTRL + U). now the eye is black and white. Maybe we have to brighten the eye up, because sometimes dark eye colors like Brown or dark blue are hard to colorize to yellow or pink (-: to do this goto Image -> Adjustments -> Brightness/Contrast (or if you're more experienced you can use Levels... too). Till now everything was quite simple, now the colorizing part starts

Image -> Adjustments -> Gradient Map... a new window opens and our eye changed its color, double click the gradient to change the colors. we opened the Gradient Editor, there are already Presets but we will make our own Gradient

So far so good...

Double clicking the color Arrows will open the Color Picker, there you can pick the colors (as the name says (-: ) and clicking under the bar will add a new arrow with the selected color.
I have three arrows, a black, green and a white one, i hope you found out how this gradient map works (if not mail me or visit the board and post your problem)
Maybe you should save your gradient map, so you can use it on the second eye too. we press OK and we are quite finished. we didnt cut out the eye perfect, so we have to erase the parts we dont need. for this we use a mask. Layer -> Add Layer Mask -> Reveal All. Select the new added layer mask, take a brush (best would be Soft Round) select black as color (this will hide the painted parts) now we erase with the black brush the parts we dont need.
we did it, wasnt it simple?
